TWO WOMEN, BOTH AYAHUASCA INTERNATIONAL FACILITATORS. One is a Mexican psychotherapist and the other one a Swiss-Spanish lawyer. Both are teachers at the European Ayahuasca School.

Within Ayahuasca International and Inner Mastery organizations, we give priority to the active participation of women, based on the recognition of the strength, perseverance, sensibility and warmth that emanate from their nature. That doesn’t remove the possibility that there are men too, but we want the energy engine to be supported by women.

Mique, a FEMALE participant who attended our inner evolution retreat in Marbella in November 2015, wrote us and said:

“What can I say? Just thank you. Laura, Mary, my colleagues, Ayahuasca and myself still looking for a way to be happy, to love, to go on in this game of life. Today I found this text of Jeff Foster summarizing what I just learned during this experience. “

How to help

Maybe it’s time drop the idea of “fixing” those who are against you, to stop providing answers or solve their problems. You’re not very good at it my friend. Your nature is not manipulation but presence; it’s not division, but the whole.

Perhaps it’s time to stop pretending that you’re the all-knowing authority, the infallible teacher, the fully-healed expert. Even with the best intentions, you may be unconsciously interfering with the natural process of others’ healings. You could be creating in them a dependency on you, distracting them from the deep confidence in their first-hand experience.

In trying to fix them, you might be having them understand, “you are damaged.”

Remember, they may need to feel worse before they can feel better. They may need to feel even more pain, before opening to the true source of healing. They may need to die to what they thought they were, before they can really live.

So relax. Breathe. Get out of all the drama. Recognize your desire to change or fix or even calm others. Now, just listen without judgment and try to understand where they are at this time.

Put yourself in their shoes. Look clearly at who and what is in front of you.

Perhaps the greatest help you can offer right now is your clarity and your free-of-prejudice attention, your interest, your understanding, your curiosity.

Convey that, be that presence, offer the opening. Be completely open to solutions that are not born yet. Be the silent intention – and the words, actions, interventions, right decisions will come without effort.

Sanctify their time by staying there. Reflect their own ability to be present. Trust the ancient mystery of healing.

Perhaps the real medicine can emerge when ‘you’ stop getting in the way.

Yes, drugs and good advice can anaesthetize or even eliminate symptoms, but the invitation to a deeper spiritual healing might be eager to come to the surface.

  1. Bonjour,

    Bien cordialement,
    Annalee Autié
